Sometimes all you need to do to a picture is rotate it, resize it, change the format or crop it. You don’t need a monster of an application like Photoshop for that. In fact, Apple includes all the tools you need for small tasks like this within Preview. Best of all, since Preview is included in OS X, its FREE.

Backing up your data is one of those things.. Like ironing, changing the oil, mowing the lawn, cleaning the cat box.. There’s always something better to do. Now that Apple created Time Machine, this is easy to set and forget. But what if you don’t have Time Machine? What if you want to back up just as easily as Time Machine, without using Time Machine?
