Flash Player lives in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ - it's shared between Safari and Firefox. Since the settings file itself belongs to ~/Library/Preferences/Macromedia, and not a browser specific preference file, it's shared between both of them. I also just tested it by viewing the applet in both browsers and my settings are identical. Good question.

(Safari and Firefox)? Or will accessing and modifying it through one or the other do the trick? Obvioiusly the BetterPrivacy add-on isn't going to help me when using Safari.
